Kurumba House is a newly built two double bedroom beach fronted property. The house is situated on Mahawella beach which is a stunning 3km deserted beach with a fishing village located at the far end of the sand strip.

The accomodation at Kurumba is old colonial style, with two double bedrooms and en suite shower/WC. The bedrooms have over head fans which keep the rooms cool and mosquito free. The house has a large veranda, with a high roof and ceiling fans. The living area is outside and comprises of comfortable modern cane furniture with views straight over the garden onto the beach. The dining area is at the far end of the veranda outside the new fully equipped kitchen.

At the bottom of the garden there is a thatched pavillion, where you can lie sheltering from the sun and snooze listening to the sound of the waves. The pavillion is ideal for massages and yoga practice.

The land was purchased in 2002 and the house finished in December 2009. The beach is great for swimming and boogie boarding and shallow so good for small children.

The proposition is simple beach life.
